The men's foil team won bronze. Ashley Marais (WC), Jacques Viljoen (WC), Jay New (WC) and Andries McDonald (GP). The women's epee team won a bronze medal. Irina Knysch (GP - coach),  Caroline Kemp (WC), Gisele Vicatos (WC), Adele du Plooy (GP), Anna McDonald (GP) and Mike Stafford (GP - manager).
