Gauteng has produced numerous fencers who have represented South Africa. The province is specifically proud of its three-time World Veteran Women's Sabre Champion Dr Marguerite Langton as well as its six Olympic fencers.

If you, or a club member, has represented South Africa internationally and you belong to GFA - please forward us a picture as well as the event and year in which you participated - we would love to show the world how our top fencers look like!
